Europe, and with honors granted by royal academies and heads of state, his career is proof that knowledge knows no borders.

Honors Beyond Borders

The list of distinctions is impressive. He is an Academician of Honor of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain, a Corresponding Academician of the Royal Academy of Economics and Financial Sciences of Spain, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy of the Sea, and a Numbered Academician of the National Academy of History and Geography of Mexico.

His work has been celebrated far beyond academia. King Philip VI of Spain knighted him with the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic, one of Spain’s most respected decorations. He also holds the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo, granted by the nation’s president for his impact on development studies and peacebuilding.

Education Across Continents

Von Feigenblatt’s educational journey reflects both his intellectual curiosity and global vision. He earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Asia Pacific Studies in Japan, followed by a Master’s in International Development Studies in Thailand. In the United States, he pursued advanced studies, completing a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and an EdD in Higher Education Leadership at Nova Southeastern University.

At Harvard University, he earned certificates in Social Justice and International Relations, later completing a Master of Liberal Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology (2022). This breadth of study across cultures has shaped his unique interdisciplinary approach.

Research That Makes a Difference

Unlike many academics who stay within narrow fields, Professor von Feigenblatt embraces interdisciplinary research. His work addresses conflict resolution, anthropology, education, and leadership—fields that, when combined, offer powerful insights into building peace and advancing social justice. His studies are not just theoretical; they have been applied in contexts that shape both policy and practice.

Leading in Higher Education

Currently, he serves as Professor and Chair of the Graduate Education Department, Latin Division, at Keiser University in Florida, USA. Here, he brings his international perspective to graduate education, mentoring future leaders and fostering innovation in teaching and research.

The Scholar-Diplomat

Professor Otto Federico von Feigenblatt is more than a scholar; he is a scholar-diplomat, someone who uses education as a tool for peace and cultural understanding. His life’s work illustrates how intellectual achievement and public service can work hand in hand to shape a better world.
